About Us

HaSchmooze is an open discourse platform of Jewish thought for students by students across the grid. There are many Jewish platforms discussing Jewish ideas but most are written by scholars: whether it be rabbis or professors. The older generation has a varied vision of Judaism than their younger counterparts. Our Judaism has developed in the technological boom and our relation has spanned the social and political changes. This blog is an attempt to capture the ideas of the young and transfer them out to the public. To publicise our generation's perspective as the next leaders to live our Judaism. This open dialogue is not a left-right issue but a Jewish issue. We wish to post articles and essays of Jews from all over the spectrum. We are a pro-Jewish and pro-Torah platform. Open for criticism but always in the pursuit of Jewish pride and heritage. This voluntary platform promotes students to engage in the larger Jewish conversation. To bring their diverse creative thinking for a better tomorrow!
